Online Quran Classes with Certified Egyptian Teachers

Live one-to-one Quran lessons for kids and adults, taught by qualified male and female Egyptian teachers. Flexible times, structured plans, and a free trial class before you pay anything.

Trusted by families in the UK, USA, Canada, UAE & worldwide.

Learning the Quran is one of the greatest blessings a Muslim can pursue, and online Quran classes have made that pursuit possible for families who once had no access to a qualified teacher. At Dhikr Academy, every lesson is delivered live, one to one, by a certified Egyptian teacher who tailors the session to the student in front of them.

Whether you are a complete beginner learning Arabic letters for the first time, a parent looking for a patient teacher for your children, or an adult who wants to correct long-standing mistakes in recitation, our online Quran classes give you a structured pathway and a teacher who walks it with you.

There are no group classes, no recorded videos and no generic curriculum. Each student receives a personalised learning plan, weekly homework, and monthly progress reviews so that improvement is visible rather than assumed.

Why Families Choose Online Quran Classes

Ten years ago, learning the Quran properly meant finding a local teacher, arranging transport, and fitting your week around a fixed class time. Today, thousands of Muslim families across the United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Australia and Europe study with qualified teachers from the comfort of their own homes.

Online learning removes the two biggest barriers to consistency: travel and scheduling. A lesson that used to cost an hour of driving now begins with a single click, which is why online students typically maintain a far more regular routine than they did before.

  • Learn from home with no travel time
  • Flexible scheduling across every time zone, including early mornings and late evenings
  • One-to-one attention rather than crowded group classes
  • Choose a male or female teacher according to your preference
  • Programmes for children, teenagers and adults
  • Affordable lesson rates from £3.50 per lesson
  • A completely free trial lesson before any commitment

Learn With Certified Egyptian Quran Teachers

Every teacher at Dhikr Academy is a native Arabic speaker from Egypt, trained in the Al-Azhar tradition of recitation and selected as much for character as for knowledge. Egypt has produced some of the most respected reciters in the Muslim world, and that tradition of careful, precise, beautiful recitation is exactly what our students inherit lesson after lesson.

Our teachers hold formal qualifications in Quran and Tajweed, have years of experience with international students, and speak clear English alongside Arabic. That means a child in Manchester or a professional in Toronto can follow instructions comfortably while still hearing authentic Arabic pronunciation from the very first minute.

  • Formal Islamic education and Quran certification
  • Al-Azhar background and traditional recitation training
  • Five to twelve years of teaching experience each
  • Male and female teachers available
  • Fluent English communication for international students
  • Patient, encouraging, and specially trained with children

What You Can Study

Our online Quran classes cover the full journey from the first Arabic letter to fluent, beautiful recitation and memorisation. Students often combine two tracks, for example Quran reading with Tajweed, or Hifz with Arabic language.

Quran Reading and Noor Al-Bayan

For beginners of any age. We start with Arabic letters, their correct articulation points (makharij), short and long vowels, and then move into connected reading. The Noor Al-Bayan and Qaida methods are especially effective for children and non-Arabic speakers because they build reading through structured, repeated patterns rather than memorised guesses.

Tajweed

Tajweed is the science of reciting the Quran as it was revealed. Students learn the rules of noon and meem sakinah, madd, qalqalah, idgham, and the characteristics of each letter, then apply them immediately in live recitation with a teacher listening and correcting in real time.

Hifz (Memorisation)

A structured memorisation programme with daily new portions, near revision and far revision. Teachers set realistic targets based on the student's age, memory strength and available study time, and track every page memorised and revised.

Arabic Language and Islamic Studies

Understanding what you recite transforms the experience. Students can add Arabic reading, writing and grammar, or Islamic Studies covering aqeedah, seerah, and the fiqh of prayer, fasting and purification.

How Our Online Lessons Work

Lessons are delivered live and one to one through Zoom or Google Meet, so there is nothing complicated to install and no classroom to travel to. All you need is a phone, tablet or laptop and a stable internet connection.

Step 1: Message us on WhatsApp

Tell us the student's age, current level and goal. We reply quickly and suggest a suitable teacher and time slot in your own time zone.

Step 2: Take your free trial lesson

Your first lesson is completely free. The teacher assesses reading level, pronunciation and confidence, then explains a realistic plan for reaching your goal.

Step 3: Choose your schedule

Pick 30 or 60 minute lessons and how many times a week you would like to study. Most students choose two or three lessons weekly, which balances steady progress with real life.

Step 4: Start learning and track progress

Teachers set homework where appropriate, review it at the start of each lesson, and send monthly progress reports so you always know exactly how the student is developing.

A Structured Plan, Not Random Lessons

A serious Quran academy should never teach randomly. Every Dhikr Academy student follows a clear pathway, and both student and teacher know what the next milestone is.

The pathway typically moves through Arabic letters, correct pronunciation, Qaida or Noor Al-Bayan, connected Quran reading, applied Tajweed rules, fluency, and then memorisation with structured revision. Adults who already read fluently begin further along the path, usually with a Tajweed correction programme.

  • Written learning plan created after the free trial
  • Weekly goals agreed with the student or parent
  • Homework after each lesson where appropriate
  • Monthly written progress report
  • Certificates awarded at the completion of each level

Pricing That Makes Consistency Possible

Our lessons start at £3.50 for a 30 minute one-to-one class and £7 for a 60 minute class. There is no registration fee, no hidden cost, and no long contract. You can pause or cancel whenever life requires it.

We keep prices deliberately affordable because Quran learning only works when it is consistent. A family should be able to sustain three lessons a week for years, not stretch for three months and stop.

My son had struggled with reading for two years. Within four months with his teacher at Dhikr Academy he was reading Surah Al-Mulk confidently and asking for extra lessons. The patience of the teacher made all the difference.
