Who We Are
Dhikr Academy was founded by a group of Egyptian Quran teachers who shared a simple concern: too many Muslim families around the world wanted to learn the Quran properly but had no access to a qualified teacher they could trust.
Our teachers come from an Al-Azhar educational background and carry the Egyptian tradition of precise, beautiful recitation that has shaped how Muslims worldwide hear the Quran. Between them they bring well over five years of teaching experience each, with students in the United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Australia, Europe and the Gulf.
Every lesson we teach is live and one to one. There are no group classes and no recorded courses, because recitation is an oral tradition that requires a teacher listening carefully to a single student and correcting in the moment.

Our Mission
Our mission is to make high-quality Quranic and Islamic education available to every Muslim family, wherever they live and whatever their schedule. We do this by pairing each student with a certified Egyptian teacher, building a personalised learning plan around their level and goals, and holding ourselves accountable through honest, regular progress reporting.
We believe learning the Quran should feel encouraging rather than intimidating. Our teachers correct with kindness, celebrate progress, and build the kind of relationship that keeps a student connected to the Quran long after the lessons end.

Our vision is a world in which no Muslim is prevented from learning the Quran by distance, cost or circumstance.
