For many sisters, and for many parents of young daughters, learning with a female teacher is not a preference but a requirement for comfort. We take that seriously, and a significant part of our teaching team is made up of qualified Egyptian female teachers.
Our female teachers hold the same qualifications as our male teachers: formal Quran and Tajweed certification, an Al-Azhar background, and years of experience teaching international students one to one.
Lessons take place live on Zoom or Google Meet, one to one, at times that fit around family and work. Cameras can remain off if you prefer, since recitation and correction are entirely audio-based.

Certified Egyptian Teachers You Can Trust
Every teacher at Dhikr Academy is a native Arabic speaker from Egypt with formal Islamic education and an Al-Azhar background in recitation. They are chosen for character as much as for qualification, because a Quran teacher shapes a student's relationship with the Book of Allah, not just their reading accuracy.
All of our teachers speak clear English, have between five and twelve years of teaching experience with international students, and are trained to work with children as well as adults.

Full assessment of your current recitation, a written correction plan, and applied practice with immediate feedback.
Hifz with structured revision
Daily new portions, near revision and far revision, with a written record of every page memorised.

Quranic Arabic, grammar, and the fiqh of purification, prayer, fasting and family life.
How to Get Started
Starting is deliberately simple. There is no application form, no registration fee and no card required before you have met your teacher.
1. Send us a WhatsApp message
Tell us the student's age, level and goal, and your preferred days and times. We reply quickly with a suggested teacher and slot.
2. Attend your free trial lesson
A full live lesson with a qualified teacher, at no cost. The teacher assesses the student's level and explains a realistic plan.
3. Choose 30 or 60 minute lessons
Lessons start at £3.50 for 30 minutes and £7 for 60 minutes, with no registration fee and the freedom to cancel at any time.
4. Begin your weekly routine
Study one to five times a week, complete homework between lessons, and receive a written progress report every month.
